The Disney/ABC Television Group has expanded its content partnership Verizon, and for the first time will distribute full-length prime-time content through V Cast, the wireless firm’s subscription-based mobile video service.
As part of the new pact, ABC will deliver full episodes of its biggest hits to V Cast subscribers, including Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, Lost and Ugly Betty. Previously, ABC had only provided V Cast with short-form promotional clips, though the network already distributes long-form content via the premium mobile video services offered by Sprint, AT&T and MobiTV.
.. In addition to ABC content, V Cast will soon offer full-length episodes of popular Disney Channel hits as part of the deal, including Hannah Montana, The Suite Life on Deck and Phineas and Ferb.
